Provides supportive care programs at no charge, for anyone living with cancer, and their families.
The following programs are offered:

Bereaved Support / Grief Support: The bereavement programs offer a supportive and accepting community for individuals who have lost a loved one to cancer. In a safe and confidential environment, participants are invited to share their stories, honour the memory of their loved one, express their grief, and reflect on the impact of their loss.

Cancer Transition Coaching: This program supports individuals as they transition from active cancer treatment to follow-up care. Through one-on-one sessions with a trained volunteer coach who has experience in oncology, participants receive guidance in developing personalized plans to manage emotional, physical, and practical concerns while adjusting to a new sense of normal. It is designed for individuals who are 3 to 18 months post-cancer treatment and provides support through an educational and psychological approach. Coaches work with participants to identify and discuss their top three concerns and assist in creating a personalized wellness plan to address them.

Chronic and Advanced Cancer Support: Wellspring offers specialized streams of programs to address these challenges, providing opportunities to share with others who genuinely understand and strategies to strengthen the ability to live well.
  • Chronic Cancer programs provide group and individual opportunities for those living with chronic cancer.
  • Oasis programs are for individuals experiencing the unique emotional challenges and uncertainty of living with advanced or metastatic cancer.
  • Specific support programs for ovarian, lymphoma, breast, and pancreatic cancers.

Wellness at Work: Wellness at Work is a supportive, one-time evening session designed for cancer survivors who have returned to the workplace and are seeking connection, reflection, and guidance. Facilitated by a professional program leader, the session provides a space to discuss the challenges of re-entering the workforce after cancer. Topics include managing workplace stress, maintaining work-life balance, and building resilience. Participants also have the opportunity to connect with others who share similar experiences. This session is open to Wellspring members who have completed cancer treatment and are navigating their return to work.

The Healing Journey: A program for people who want to learn how to help themselves when they have cancer.
